Oxford Police Department reports were unavailable Monday.
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks, made seven arrests (details unavailable Monday) and investigated the following arrests:

University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
9 vehicle stops
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 ambulance needed
Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI-refusal and speeding
1 speeding, driving while license suspended, switched tag and no insurance
Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
6/21 – 9:59 a.m. – Jackson Ave. / Fraternity Row – wreck – stood by for EMS to arrive
6/21 – 11:06 a.m. – Gus’s Fried Chicken – cleaning the grill activated a smoke detector
6/21 – 12:58 p.m. – 42 Magnolia Dr. on campus – this was the wrong location – alarm was at the new indoor tennis facility on Manning Way – workers activated a smoke detector

6/21 – 3:01 p.m. – The Lyric – testing strobe lights activated the fire alarm system
6/21 – 3:42 p.m. – 611 Commerce Parkway No. 6 – vaping activated a smoke detector
6/21 – 10:54 p.m. – Campus Walk F101 – resident left a pot holder on a hot stove eye and smoked up the apartment
6/22 – 1:08 & 9:10 a.m. – Phi Kappa Tau House – dust from sanding sheetrock activated the smoke detector
6/22 – 10:49 a.m. – Pizza Hut – grease in fryer started smoking when it was plugged in and the employee called 911
6/22 – 6:19 p.m. – BMH – call canceled
6/23 – 6:54 p.m. -The Domain – someone pulled a fire alarm as a prank
6/23 – 11:50 p.m. – Campus Creek – water flow alarm malfunction
