Oxford Police Department issued 33 tickets, investigated seven wrecks and the following reports:

1 domestic disturbance

1 noise violation
2 residential burglaries
2 shopliftings
1 simple assault

4 vehicle searches

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI, no headlights, suspended driver’s license and no insurance
1 DUI and driving the wrong way on a one-way road
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 trespassing

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for aggravated domestic violence, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:59 p.m. – High Cotton Condos – no alarm found
2:42 a.m. – Gus’s Fried Chicken – call canceled
