Oxford Police Department issued five tickets, investigated one wreck, made one arrest for possession of a fake ID and investigated the following reports:

1 animal complaint
1 code violation
3 disturbing the peace complaints
1 domestic violence with simple assault
1 elderly assist
2 fire department assists
1 improper parking
2 larcenies
1 motorist assist
1 property damage
1 suspicious activity
1 vehicle search
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated the following reports:
1 agency assist
4 alarms
2 animal complaints
2 disturbances
3 follow-ups
1 juvenile complaint
13 service calls
2 suspicious vehicles
3 transports
1 welfare check
1 armed robbery
Deputies made the following arrests:
1 careless driving, driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and DUI
1 DUI, no proof of insurance
1 family disturbance, DUI, driving while license suspended and disorderly conduct
1 writ to take into custody
University Police Department conducted 16 traffic stops and investigated one wreck.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:02 a.m. – CB Webb complex – medical call
4:02 p.m. – Chancellor’s House Hotel – water flow system alarm
10:29 p.m. – 534 Rickey Britt Blvd. – resident left something on the stove and it smoked the apartment up – no fire
