2 domestic disturbances

1 public drunk

1 shoplifting
2 simple assaults
6 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person
1 suspicious vehicle
1 vehicle search

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI, no driver’s license and no insurance
1 malicious mischief, public drunk and fake ID
1 possession of drug paraphernalia

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 possession of a controlled substance
1 possession of a controlled substance and DUI other

University Police Department investigated one report of a suspicious person and one wreck.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
1:21 p.m. – New addition to the Student Union – for some reason a smoke detector cover was removed activating the smoke detector
2:39 p.m. – Hermitage Gardens parking lot – subject sitting in a vehicle not feeling well – provided oxygen and monitored until EMS arrived
9:16 p.m. – Ole Miss Motel – person having a panic attack – monitored until EMS arrived
