OPD made the following arrests:
1 DUI
1 no driver’s license and no insurance
1 warrant served, driving while license suspended and no seat belt
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 petty theft
1 road obstruction
7 service calls
1 suspicious activity
1 suspicious vehicle

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 aggravated assault with domestic violence
1 possession of a firearm by a felon
University Police Department reports were unavailable Thursday.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
7:31 a.m. – 109 Rosemont Loop – call canceled
4:35 p.m. – 100 Azalea Drive – Elmcroft Assisted Living – assisted EMS in removing a patient from a vehicle and load into an ambulance
5:03 p.m. – Kappa Alpha house – cooking activated a smoke detector
8:07 p.m. – Hedleston Hall – first-floor smoke detector malfunction
