Amy Tidwell

Born in Metairie, Lousiana, she is “known for her larger than life personality and her smile that brightened every room she entered. She also spent time working with various volunteer organizations including Yellow Leaf Baptist Church where she was an active member.

Tidwell leaves behind her husband, Will Tidwell of Oxford; two daughters, Sarah Beth Tidwell of Oxford and Alex Tidwell of Boston; one son, Ethan Tidwell of Oxford; her mother, Susan Dempsey of Oxford; one sister, Lawrie Williams of New Orleans; one brother, Casey Dempsey of Atlanta, GA; and a grandson, Tyler Tidwell of Oxford, to whom she was “Nims.”
