Ole Miss Baseball Looks to Corral the Hogs in Arkansas

The No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels step back into conference action this weekend as they travel to Arkansas to face the Razorbacks in a three-game series tilt. First pitch is slated for tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
Ole Miss picked up its 18th win of the season Tuesday night after a 9-6 victory over the Memphis Tigers. The Rebels were led on the evening by Chase Cockrell who went 3-for-5 at the dish with two doubles and a single.
Senior Ryan Olenek has hits in 24 of 26 games this season and is 2nd in the SEC in both hits and batting average.
Arkansas (21-4) is coming off an 8-2 win at Missouri State on Tuesday night. Last weekend the Razorbacks took the series from Alabama.
The Razorbacks have five players hitting over .300 on the season including Jacob Nesbit who has a .337 average with 20 RBIs. His teammates Casey Martin and Heston Kjerstad have 5 home runs apiece.
Ole Miss and Arkansas have met 91 times coming into the weekend. The Razorbacks hold a 47-44 edge in the all-time series.
Coach Mike Bianco will call on the arms of right-hander Will Ethridge (Friday), southpaw Doug Nikhazy (Saturday) and Gunnar Hoglund (Sunday). Arkansas will matchup with a trio of right-handed hurlers in Issac Campbell (Friday), Connor Noland (Saturday) and Cody Scroggins (Sunday).
Game times for this series are set for tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPNU, Saturday at 3 p.m. on SEC Network and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on SEC Network +. Fans can also listen to all the action on the Ole Miss Radio Network.
