The following reports were made March 22-24, 2019, by city, university and county law enforcement agencies, unless otherwise noted.

Oxford Police Department issued 72 tickets, investigated 26 wrecks and the following reports:
3 false 911 calls
18 alarms
2 ambulance assists
1 burglary
9 careless driving complaints
1 civil matter
1 credit card fraud
1 cyberstalking
14 disturbing the peace complaints
4 domestic disturbances
1 fire department assist
1 harassing phone call
5 improper parking complaints
3 K9 search
3 larcenies
2 lost properties
1 malicious mischief
1 motorist assist
1 scam
5 suspicious activities
4 suspicious people
2 suspicious vehicles
1 tint violation
5 welfare checks

Officers made the following arrests:
1 carrying a concealed weapon without a permit
1 DUI, careless driving, speeding and no insurance
1 DUI and careless driving
1 DUI
1 DUI, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession of a schedule 2 drug
1 DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment
1 DUI and no headlights
1 DUI-second and driving while license suspended
1 domestic violence with simple assault
1 fake ID
1 minor in possession of alcohol and a fake ID
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia, K9 search and seatbelt violation
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 Possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, no tag and K9 search
3 public drunks
1 simple assault
1 warrant served
1 warrant served, driving while license suspended and no headlights

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Departmentinvestigated the following reports:

1 juvenile complaint

Deputies made the following arrests:

University Police Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 disturbance-fight
3 disturbances-loud music
1 suspicious people
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 handicap parking violation
1 possession of beer

Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and running a stop sign
1 public drunk and fake ID
1 speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia
1 public drunk
1 DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
3/22 – 4:24 p.m. – Starbucks parking lot – person hit by a vehicle – patient refused EMS treatment
3/23 – 2:13 a.m. – ATO house No. 17 – smoking in the room activated the smoke detector
3/23 – 12:46 p.m. – Kappa Alpha house #14 – smoke detector malfunction
3/23 – 2:51 & 2:58 p.m. – Hermitage Gardens – call canceled
3/23 – 3:08 p.m. – Goodwill flower bed – someone threw a cigarette in the flower bed catching it on fire
3/23 – 3:35 p.m. – Beta Theta Pi house – burned food in the oven activated a smoke detector
3/24 – 10:07 a.m. – Chick-Fil-A – cleaning someone accidentally bumped a detector
3/24 – 10:50 a.m. – Indoor Practice Facility – working on the floor activated a smoke detector
3/24 – 11:34 a.m. & 14:58 p.m. – BMH – calls canceled
3/24 – 5:38 p.m. – Brittany Drive area – small grass and woods fire – FD extinguished
