University Police Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
9:52 a.m. – 1765 East Jackson Ave. No. 111 – call canceled
10:24 a.m. – 265 North Lamar – doing demo in an upstairs building activated the fire alarm system
11:19 a.m. – 2504 Capital Street – call canceled
12:48 p.m. – The Beacon – wreck with an injury
4:32 p.m. – Wilson Art – call canceled

I think it’s sad when the Oxford Eagle prints someone’s name in the paper for an expired driver’s license!
