The following reports were made Feb. 13, 2019, by city, university and county law enforcement agencies, unless otherwise noted.
Oxford Police Department issued 32 tickets, investigated 12 wrecks and the following reports:

3 ambulance assists

2 disturbing the peace complaints
1 fire department assist
1 harassing phone call
2 improper parking complaints
1 motorist assist
1 reported gunshots
3 suspicious activities
2 suspicious people
1 suspicious vehicle

1 welfare check
Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and running a stop sign
1 DUI, minor in possession of alcohol, speeding and no insurance
2 DUI and speeding
1 public drunk and fake ID
1 shoplifting
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department reports were unavailable Tuesday.

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 warrant for grand larceny
3 writs to take into custody
University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 harassment
1 public drunk
1 intoxicated person
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:23 a.m. – 1124 North Lamar – smell of gas – a restaurant left a gas stove on with the pilot lights out causing a gas leak
9:15 a.m. – Highway 30 at Oxford Commons Boulevard – wreck with injuries
11:25 a.m. – The Round Table – broken water pipe caused the water flow alarm to activate
4:42 p.m. – 179 Highway 6 East – hit and run wreck with one injury – provided first aid and stood by for EMS
10:59 p.m. – The Retreat – medical assist – monitored patient and stood by for EMS
12:36 a.m. – Lafayette Place Bldg. 4000 – someone pulled the fire alarm as a prank
