OPD officers made the following arrest:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

University Police Department made one arrest for careless driving and no insurance and investigated the following reports:
1 petty theft
1 false pretense (bad check)

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following reports:
8:47 a.m. – Highway 7 N. just past University Avenue exit – 18-wheeler brakes on fire
3:37 p.m. – Maplewood Drive – medical call
5:01 p.m. – BMH – call canceled
