UM Athletics Announces Date for 2019 Grove Bowl Weekend

The 2019 Grove Bowl weekend that highlights the Rebel football team’s annual intrasquad scrimmage is set for April 6 at 3 p.m.
The Grove Bowl is the conclusion of spring practice, which begins Feb. 28. Admission is free for the scrimmage that will take place in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The Saturday football scrimmage will be followed by the Ole Miss baseball team in action against the Gators at 7 p.m. Game time for Friday’s series opener will be 6:30 p.m., while Sunday’s first pitch is 1:30 p.m.
Other events of Grove Bowl Weekend include the annual Chucky Mullins Courage Award Ceremony, which will be a luncheon on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Grill at 1810 at the Manning Center. Ticket information and other details will be announced next month.
In addition, the Rebel men’s tennis team will be in action Sunday with a doubleheader against Arkansas-Pine Bluff beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is free at the Palmer/Salloum Center.
