OPD officers made the following arrests:

1 possession of marijuana in a vehicle and speeding

1 possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt
2 public drunks
1 simple assault
1 suspended driver’s license, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and no seat belt
1 suspended driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt and expired tag
1 warrant served, shoplifting, disorderly conduct-failure to comply and public drunk

University Police Department served a warrant, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 EMS due to intoxicated person
1 possession of alcohol by person under 21
1 fire department assist

UPD officers made the following arrests:
1 possession of a controlled substance
1 improper left turn, suspended driver’s license, possession of drug
1 simple assault on a police officer, public drunk and disorderly conduct

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
1/18 – 8:07 a.m. – Kroger – call canceled
1/18 – 4:38 p.m. – North Residential College – cleaning the grill in the kitchen activated a smoke detector
1/18 – 11:38 p.m. – Canterbury Crest #115 – burned food activated the smoke detector
1/19 – 8:06 a.m. – 1709 A Jefferson Ave. – medical call – taking vitals and EMS arrived
1/19 – 8:09 a.m. – Vaught Hemingway – water flow alarm malfunction
1/19 – 9:51 a.m. – 107 Breckenridge Cove – Carbon monoxide detector malfunction
1/19 – 3:53 p.m. – The Parks No. 40 – smell of gas – used gas monitor to check the residence and didn’t find any smell of gas
1/19 – 5:51 p.m. – 3-Way Grocery – medical call – provided CPR until EMS arrived
1/19 – 9:01 p.m. – 211 Longest – call canceled
1/19 – 11:06 p.m. – 217 Colonial Road – call canceled
1/20 – 5:56 a.m. – Chancellors House Hotel and Spa – cooking activated a smoke detector
1/20 – 1 p.m. – Hwy. 7 South by ball fields – wreck with injuries – provided 1st aid and stood by for EMS
1/20 – 5:45 p.m. – Turnberry Condos Bldg. B – stuck elevator
1/20 – 11:17 p.m. – Stewart Hall room 226 – smoke detector malfunction
1/21 – 7:15 a.m. – LaRonda Drive – lift assist
1/21 – 10:26 & 11:46 – workers caused a fire alarm activation
1/22 – 12:37 a.m. – Pi Kappa Alpha house – smoking activated a smoke detector
