OPD officers made the following arrest:
1 DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving

3 minors in possession of alcohol

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

University Police Department made one arrest for careless driving and no insurance and investigated the following reports:
3 suspicious people
1 possession of drug paraphernalia

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:01 a.m. – Southern Coop – call canceled
8:06 a.m. – First Presbyterian Church – a power outage activated the fire alarm system
8:46 a.m. – Winchester – workers activated the fire alarm while working on a piece of equipment
9:07 a.m. – Uncommon of Oxford – sanding sheetrock activated a smoke detector
4:57 p.m. – Oxford Sober Living – smoke detector malfunction
5:15 p.m. – Highway 7 S in front of Station 3 – wreck with injuries – checked injuries, stood by for EMS and helped clear the road
5:17, 5:18 p.m. and 5:52 this morning- 200A South Lamar Court – elevator heat detector malfunction
5:20 p.m. – ATO house – smoke detector malfunction
5:41 p.m. – Ole Miss indoor practice facility – smoke detector malfunction
