OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 public drunk and minor in possession of alcohol
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department took one person into custody on a Chancery Court writ and investigated the following reports:

University Police Department conducted seven traffic stops, made one arrest for driving while license suspended and speeding and investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
7:25 a.m. – Lafayette High School – the bus fire
8:30 a.m. – Waller Funeral Home – call canceled
3:38 p.m. – Highway 6 west at Thacker Loop – four-car wreck – no injuries
11:47 p.m. – Lafayette Place – trouble breathing – monitored vitals until EMS arrived
