Oxford Police Department issued 24 tickets, investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
2 911 hang-ups
5 alarms
2 ambulance assists
1 animal complaint
2 burglary
4 disturbing the peace
1 forgery
1 harassment
1 improper parking
1 shoplifting
1 simple assault
1 suspicious activity

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 discord conduct-failure to comply
1 disorderly conduct-failure to comply and no seat. Belt
1 DUI, speeding and running a red light
1 possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, disorderly conduct-failure to comply and no seat belt
1 public drunk
1 warrant served and expired tag

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 alarm
2 disturbances
1 harassment
7 service calls
2 suspicious activities
2 welfare checks
3 transports
2 follow-ups

University Police Department conducted 13 traffic stops and investigated two wrecks.

Oxford Fire Department responded at 4:40 p.m. to 406 Country Club Road for an alarm but the call was canceled.
