6 suspicious activities
3 suspicious people
1 suspicious vehicle

2 welfare checks
OPD officers made the following arrest:
1 open container and one headlight
1 public drunk
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated four wrecks and the following reports:
3 alarms
5 service calls
1 welfare concern
1 scam
1 transport
4 follow-up reports
1 unauthorized use of vehicle
1 road obstruction
2 civil matters
1 paper served
Deputies made the following arrests:
1 MDOC hold
1 DUI
1 DUI and careless driving
University Police Department conducted four traffic stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls on Dec. 25:
9:27 a.m. – The Lyric – call canceled
1:04 p.m. – 400 Thomas Street – lightning struck a power pole, it traveled down the pole and struck the gas pipe, also traveling through the electrical wires into the garage which made them smolder
12:05 a.m. (Friday) – The Links Bldg. 11 Apt. 9 – resident advised there was a smell that was burning her eyes. FD checked the residence with a gas monitor and nothing was found
3:08 a.m. (Friday) – Pita Pit area – smell of gas – two lantern pilot lights were out
