Ole Miss Closes Out Non-Con Against North Florida

The Ole Miss Rebels women’s basketball team returns to action on Friday as they host the North Florida Ospreys. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. inside the Pavilion.
Ole Miss (5-8) looks to close out their non-conference season on a high note. The Rebels come into the game falling short to high scoring Troy squad 71-54.
Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin’s squad was led into the contest by senior Crystal Allen with another 20-point performance.
North Florida rolls into town with a 5-5 mark on the season out of the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Ospreys are shooting .408 as a team from the court on the season.
North Florida has four players averaging double digits led by Tiffany Tolbert (18.3 ppg), Jazz Bond (14.0ppg), Arianna Emanuel-Wright (12.7ppg) and Dasha Eremeeva (10.1 ppg)
The Ospreys are outscoring its opponents 66.0-60.7 a night.
Ole Miss and North Florida have met on the court one time prior in 2011 with the Rebels walking away with a 68-59 victory in Oxford.
