OPD officers made the following arrest:
3 domestic violence with simple assaults
1 DUI and one headlight
1 malicious mischief
1 open container
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and child restraint
1 possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana
2 public drunks
2 simple assaults

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for trespassing investigated 14 wrecks and the following reports:

1 residential burglary (CR 202)

1 domestic violence
2 grand larcenies
2 harassments
11 service calls
7 suspicious activities
6 welfare concerns

2 trespassing complaints

University Police Department investigated the following reports:
9 traffic stops
1 larceny
1 lost property
1 possession of alcohol by a person under 21

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls on Dec. 25:
10:48 a.m. – Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi – call canceled
11:25 a.m. – Pierce Street – smell of gas in the area – checked the area with a gas monitor and nothing was found
4:12 p.m. – Highway 7 North – wreck with entrapment call – call was canceled
