OPD officers made the following arrests:

1 domestic violence with simple assault and public drunk

1 possession of a drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct with failure to comply and public drunk
1 public drunk
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated five wrecks and the following reports:

University Police Department officers responded to the following reports:

1 suspicious vehicle
1 Ambulance for intoxicated person
UPD officers made the following arrests:
1 improper equipment and driving while license suspended
1 DUI
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
12/14 – 3:25 p.m. – Oby’s area – wreck with one injury, chest hurting from seat belt – EMS arrived on scene
12/14 – 4:11 p.m. – 268 CR 387 area – one car wreck with injuries – provided first aid while EMS worked on another patient
12/14 – 7:08 p.m. – 422-B Clearbrook – medical call – EMS already on scene
12/14 – 8:36 p.m. – 900 Brittany Drive – van on fire fully involved – extinguished
12/15 – 2:21 p.m. – Mobile Gas Station University Ave. – wreck with no injuries
12/15 – 4:43 p.m. – 101 Barlow Lane – female in labor having anxiety attack – provided oxygen and monitored vitals until EMS arrived
12/16 – 9:22 p.m. – Marathon Station South Lamar area – a one-car wreck with injury – EMS on scene
