OPD: Robbery Reported on Hathorn Road Near Campus Creek

The Oxford Police Department notified the Ole Miss faculty, staff and student body at approximately 10:54 a.m. Friday through ‘Rebalert’ of a robbery on Hathorn Road near the bus stop at Campus Creek.
At approximately 11:22 a.m, the OPD located the suspect on Tad Pad Road, according to the LiveSafe app.
According to a release by OPD, the suspect is described as an African-American male and is approximately 40 years of age wearing a dark gray or black tracksuit. No weapon was reported to be involved in the commission of this crime, according to OPD.
The department is asking if anyone has any information concerning this crime, please contact the Oxford Police Department at 662-232-2400.
