“(Tyree’s) leadership has gotten so much better the last seven or eight months,” Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis said.

The Rebels and Toreros both went on double-digit runs in the first half of action. Ole Miss took an early 20-12 advantage in the contest as Tyree scored seven of the 15 points.

Ole Miss took a 39-37 lead going into the locker room.

Ole Miss returns to action Saturday afternoon as they host ULM at 1 p.m. on the SEC Network +.
