1 malicious mischief
1 motorist assist

2 welfare checks

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 MHP assist
1 simple assault
4 alarms
1 harassment
3 service calls
1 sexual assault
1 scam
1 transport
1 trespassing
1 information
1 follow up
1 civil matter
1 fire department assist

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 warrant served for possession of a firearm by a felon
1 sexual battery warrant

University Police Department made no arrests, investigated four wrecks and the following reports:
1 suspicious vehicle
1 suspicious person
1 reckless driving
1 ambulance assist

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:45 a.m.- The Cove C1 – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
1:30 p.m. – 505 West Jackson Ave. – subject fell because of ice – provided first aid and stood by until EMS arrived
3:45 p.m. – 1705 Jefferson Ave. – helped resident put a battery back into her smoke detector
