Oxford Police Department issued 17 tickets, investigated 13 wrecks and the following reports:

2 careless driving complaints
1 domestic disturbance
1 fire department assist
1 harassment
1 improper parking
2 K9 searches
1 malicious mischief
1 motorist assist
1 phone harassment
1 simple assault
5 suspicious activities
3 suspicious persons
2 welfare checks

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and noise violations
1 petty theft
1 public drunk

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 animal complaint
1 auto burglary
3 disturbances
1 harassment
2 service calls
1 suspicious activity

University Police Department made one arrest for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and investigated the following reports:
1 ambulance call
6 wrecks
1 vandalism to a vehicle
1 suspicious vehicle

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:40 a.m. – 1555 Chickasaw Road – caller advised the neighbors apt. was smoking – it was steam coming off the roof from the sun shining on it
11:20 a.m. – 134 Thacker Loop – patient having a seizure
1:30 p.m. – 240 St. Andrews Circle – medical call
4:05 p.m. – 211 Stove Road – the alarm panel had a malfunction
6:59 p.m.- 200 Town Center Dr. No. 620A – burned food in oven smoking
