Man Charged for Stealing Purse, Using Credit Cards
A stolen purse led to the arrest of Morton man Monday by the Oxford Police Department.

Police say the man allegedly stole a purse while at an Oxford restaurant and used the credit cards to illegally purchase items online. Cash was also taken from the purse.
According to reports, Joshua Deering, 21, was charged with credit card fraud and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
