Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
10:46 a.m. – State Veterans Home – call canceled
11:35 a.m. – CR 160 – wreck – no entrapment
1:03 p.m. – BMH – Stuck elevator everyone out upon arrival
1:22 p.m. – Meek Hall area – bad transformer sparking
7:38 p.m. – 1211 South 16th Street Extended – smoke detector malfunction
7:49 p.m. – 110 Edgewood Blvd. – Carbon Monoxide scare – nothing found
9:33 p.m. – 307 Bramlett Blvd. area – tree fell into the street – FD cut tree up and moved it out of the street
10:31 p.m. – Canterbury Crest #119 – cooking activated the smoke detector
