The Saint John the Evangelist volunteers operated the Pantry of Oxford and Lafayette County in October providing food assistance to more 500 local families.

The Pantry—located at 713 Molly Barr next to the Oxford Police Station—accepts donations all year long. Photo by Anna Grace Usery.

This group of seasoned volunteers assisted by the Ole Miss Beta Alpha Psi, Professional Accounting Society, provided cheerful and caring support to our many Pantry patrons. Additionally many UM students joined us each week to perform community service. Thanks to all for adding to our experience.

Special thanks to the Ole Miss Sigma Nu fraternity for the October UM campus wide Food Drive. The Oxford Pantry received over 6,000 cans of soup and vegetables from their efforts. Congratulations on such a successful charity endeavor.

As always, thanks to Bost Farm, Oxford Community Market, Wal-Mart, Panera Bread, and Kroger for their weekly donations.

Donate in honor of a loved one with a Pantry donation gift card. These cards are available at the Origin Bank located at 1312 University Avenue in Oxford MS 38655.
