Oxford Dental Clinic Donates T-Shirt Proceeds to Oxford Cancer Center

Oxford Dental Clinic’s focus on their patients is unique and personal in the way they engage the community in fun and creative ways.

The clinic, led by dentists Walker Swaney, Mike Huggins, and Ambrie Goodman, is known for its excellent customer service and dedication to patients. From the moment a patient walks in the door, he or she is greeted by a friendly face, calming environment, and even a red carpet.

“Patients come first. They are No. 1 all the time,” said Lizz Daigneault, office manager at Oxford Dental. This has been the theme of Oxford Dental for more than 34 years and continues today.

Oxford Dental Clinic also gives back to the community through multiple promotional events for service members and fun giveaways like tailgate packages that include a Yeti cooler and accessories. These giveaways have heightened Oxford Dental’s exposure to the community, and created an identity of community service, Daigneault said. They also reach out to students at the University of Mississippi every year to give out dental hygiene packages.

Oxford Dental Clinic’s most recent service endeavor was raising awareness for breast cancer during the month of October. They sold breast cancer awareness T-shirts for $10 each and all proceeds went to the Oxford Cancer Center. On Tuesdays during the month of October, they took the characters’ advice from the movie “Mean Girls” and wore their pink breast cancer awareness T-shirts with pride.

This month Oxford Dental is also giving away a Holli’s Sweet Tooth gift card to the patient who comes to the office dressed in the best Halloween costume.

Daigneault said through these community engagement promotions and activities it proves Oxford Dental Clinic is a business dedicated to giving back to Oxford and engaging with the local community.
