A Look Back at this Year’s Square Jam

The Ole Miss men’s and women’s basketball teams showcased their talents on the Historic Oxford Square this year after the athletic department staged a full-sized playing court. This event returned on Oct. 19 after a two-year hiatus.
“It was a great crowd and the weather cooperated with us,” said Ole Miss men’s basketball head coach Kermit Davis. “I want to thank the city mayor (Robyn) Tannehill, our marketing department and the fans that made it all happen.”
Fans gathered close to the court to experience the excitement of the three-point shootout and slam dunk contest. Davis said the players loved the experience and had a great time showcasing their talents in front of the community.
