The SEC league office announced on Monday the Rebels will host another 11 a.m. kickoff. The Rebels invite the South Carolina Gamecocks Nov. 3 to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for the early kick and second-to-last home game of the year.
Ole Miss (5-3, 1-3) is heading into a bye week after coming off a 31-16 loss to the Auburn Tigers.
South Carolina (3-3, 2-3) lost a hard fought game to No. 16 Texas A&M 26-23 on Oct. 13. Head coach Will Muschamp’s quarterback Jake Bentley has thrown for more than 1,150 yards this season in five games with 10 touchdowns. The Gamecocks are averaging 28.8 points per game and allowing 25.8 to their opponents.
Ole Miss and South Carolina have not faced each other on the gridiron since 2009. The Rebels hold an 8-7 advantage in the all-time series.
South Carolina will host the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
