Ole Miss’ “Mr. Magazine” Receives The Luminaire Award in NYC

Husni, the director of the Magazine Innovation Center and a professor and Hederman Lecturer, received the honor this week in New York City, according to the Meek School Facebook page. The award has been described as the “Hall of Fame” for the graphic and visual communications industries.
The award was presented by the Idealliance Foundation and the Printing Industries Alliance at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City Oct. 17.
“Back from New York City after receiving the Luminaire Award from the Printing Industries Alliance and the Idealliance Foundation,” Husni said on Facebook. “The award is the “Hall of Fame” for the Graphic & Visual Communications industries. Humbled, honored, and blessed.”
