OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 minor in possession of alcohol, expired tag and one headlight
1 possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, failure to dim headlights, switched tag and no driver’s license
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and switched tag
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department took one person into custody on a chancery writ and investigated the following reports:

2 transports
2 trespassing
3 informational reports
1 follow-up
1 civil matter
1 suicidal subject
University Police Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 fake ID
1 harassment
2 ambulance assists
Oxford Fire Department reports were unavailable Tuesday,
12:48 & 2:16 p.m. – Sam Gerard Hall – turning the heat on for the first time activated the heat duct detector
1:07 p.m. – Hermitage Gardens – turning the heat on for the first time activated a smoke detector
2:11 p.m. – 1340 West Jackson area – wreck with no injuries – assisted wrecker service clean the street
5:24 p.m. – 771 Nottingham – burned food activated a smoke detector
6:09 p.m. – 960 Molly Barr Apt. 1 – COPD patient coughing – provided oxygen until EMS arrived
7:23 – p.m. – Chi Psi House No. 207 – smoke detector malfunction
7:37 p.m. – Highway 7 – wreck EMS already on scene
7:50 p.m. – Village Walk Apts. third-floor smoke detector malfunction
