First Half Breakdown of ULM

The Ole Miss Rebels got off to a fast start against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. At the half, Ole Miss took the 49-7 advantage going into the locker room.
The Rebels running back Scottie Phillips reached pay dirt from 2 yards. Ole Miss then scored on the second position of the game as Jordan Ta’amu connected with A.J. Brown on a 20-yard reception.
Ta’amu then scored on back-to-back drives on the ground from a yard out. Louisiana-Monroe then scored in the second quarter on an 11-yard pass.
Phillips scored another touchdown from one yard out, followed by a pass to D.K. Metcalf.
Ta’amu passed for 374 yards in the game with three touchdowns. He rushed for a total of 63 yards on five touches with two touchdowns.
