First Half Of Kent State Game

The Ole Miss and the Kent State Golden Flashes go into the locker rooms at the half tied at 7-7.
Ole Miss scored on its first position of the game as quarterback Jordan Ta’amu connected with running back Scottie Phillips on a 38-yard score.
The Landshark defense kept the Golden Flashes off of the scoreboard in the first quarter.
Kent State scored in the second quarter on an 18-yard pass that knotted the game up at 7-7.
Ta’amu finished the half throwing for 105 yards and one touchdown. Phillips carried the ball nine times for 68 yards.
The Rebels were led in receiving by A.J. Brown with six catches for 54 yards in the half.
Kent State ended the half with 264 yards of total offense to the Rebels 226 yards.
