Oxford Police Department issued 21 tickets, investigated four wrecks and the following reports:

1 domestic disturbance
1 improper parking
2 larcenies
2 lost properties
1 motorist assist
1 other agency assist
1 residential burglary
7 suspicious activities
2 suspicious people
1 suspicious vehicle
3 vehicle searches
OPD made the following arrests:
1 disturbing the peace
1 domestic violence with simple assault
3 for shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 simple assault
3 alarms
1 animal complaint
1 disturbance
8 service calls
1 welfare concern
1 information
2 follow-ups
1 unauthorized use of a vehicle
2 frauds
1 reckless driving
University Police Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
2 suspicious people
1 medical call
1 vandalism
1 disturbance
1 larceny
UPD made one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, running a stop sign, suspended license, no insurance and a broken taillight
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
10:06 – Cannon Motors – possible stroke – EMS already on scene
12:39 – Robert Khayat Law School – duct detector malfunction
13:26 – 268 Hwy. 7 North – possible stroke – again EMS already on scene
19:28 – 2716 Southwind Cove – resident burning wood trash – was told there is no burning in the city limits
