Oxford Police Department issued 50 tickets and investigated 18 wrecks the following reports:

Officers made the following arrests:

1 DUI, no driver’s license and no insurance
1 DUI, reckless driving, no headlights, no driver’s license and open container
1 DUI, running a red light, fake ID and minor in possession of alcohol
1 DUI-third
1 DUI-third, following too close, no driver’s license, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and warrant served
1 DUI-fourth and careless driving
5 fake IDs and minor in possession of alcohol
3 minors in possession of alcohol
1 no driver’s license, seat belt violation and warrant served
1 noise violation and minor in possession of alcohol
2 open containers
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
7 public drunks
1 public drunk and fake ID
1 public drunk and malicious mischief
1 public drunk and open container

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated five wrecks and the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
2 for domestic violence with simple assault
1 for public drunk
1 writ to take custody
4 for no driver’s license
1 for suspended driver’s license

University Police Department investigated four wrecks, made 20 traffic stops and investigated the following reports:
3 medical calls
2 ambulances needed for intoxicated persons
2 suspicious people
4 intoxicated persons
3 suspicious people
1 grand theft
1 sexual battery
1 simple assault
3 vandalism complaints

UPD officers made the following arrests:
1 disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunk
2 for possession of alcohol
