Oxford Man Arrested for Forging Checks
The Oxford Police Department arrested an Oxford man last week for allegedly forging checks.
According to reports, OPD took a report Wednesday from an alleged victim claiming Phillip Kyser, 25, of Oxford forged the signature on several checks totally $4,876. The victim signed charges against Kyster at that time.
Officers arrested Kyser on Thursday and took him to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $10,000 bond.
