The Grove is an essential part of late summer and fall for every Ole Miss fan. For those who like to enjoy a cold beverage before, during and after the Rebels storm the field, artist Kara Giles has the hardware you need.
Giles’ ‘Grove Cups’ have been in production for 15 years. She said she tries to do something “unique” and “catchy” for the turn of each new season.
“Coming up with new phrases each fall is one of my favorite things to do,” she said. “I knew I wanted to do ‘Throwin Samoan’ this year, and when it came time to design it the tribal football just came to me.”

This year she is also bringing back the popular Hotty Toddy solo cups.

Giles is the owner and operator of Nest Paper Studios in Oxford. She moved from Memphis to Oxford to obtain her master’s in art education at the University of Mississippi. In 2016 she closed her storefront on the Square and began selling her wares from home.
