Oxford Police Department investigated three wrecks, issued 20 tickets and responded to the following calls:

1 civil matter
1 embezzlement
2 fire department assists
1 larceny
1 littering
1 lost property
3 motorist assists
1 shoplifting
2 simple assaults
1 suspicious activity
3 suspicious vehicles
1 theft from a motor vehicle
1 welfare check
OPD made the following arrests:
1 DUI
1 Possession of drug paraphernalia
1 careless driving, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to comply and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

2 alarms
3 animal complaints
2 disturbances
1 domestic violence
1 petty theft
2 harassments
1 service call
3 suspicious activities
1 welfare concern
3 informational reports
2 road obstructions
1 civil matter
1 public drunk
5 assistance calls
1 abandoned vehicle
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests on the following charges:
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 public drunk and disorderly conduct
University Police Department investigated two wrecks and issued one citation for speeding.
Oxford Fire Department responded at:
7:37 a.m. to Southern Table on Thacker Loop for a medical call
7:56 a.m. to Stockard Hall for heat detector malfunction
1:30 p.m. to Sigma Chi after workers activated a smoke detector
5:36 p.m. to Dollar Tree Parking Lot for a person who was having trouble breathing
7 p.m. to 2602 Walnut Hills to help someone who had fallen to get up
9:36 p.m. to 3121 Davis Drive for an unfounded report of a pole on fire
