Ole Miss head football coach Matt Luke has been hard at work recruiting for the 2019 season. Though the Rebels haven’t even seen a play in the 2018 season, they currently find themselves sitting at No. 14 in the nation in recruiting for 2019, according to 247 sports.
Luke and his staff have landed 22 commits with six months to signing day in a class that is made up of (19) three-star and (3) four-star athletes. Ole Miss has landed the most commits out of any Top 40 ranked team, with the next highest being 21 by the Texas A&M Aggies.
Luke is starting his first full season at the helm, without the interim tag, after finishing with a 6-6 record and a 31-28 victory to reclaim the Egg Bowl trophy.
When the 2019 class steps on campus the two-year bowl ban will be lifted from the program, but Ole Miss will still have scholarship reductions from the NCAA.
