The Ole Miss men’s basketball season officially tips off in November, but the team will travel across the border in early August for a few games.

The Rebels play two games in Montreal and two in Ottawa. They will take the hardwood against perennial power Carleton University. Carleton has won 13 of the last 15 Canadian national championships.
“They speak for themselves,” Davis said. “Those guys have beaten numerous high-level power five teams there. I think they are all going to be competitive games.”
Coach Davis said these extra practice days and Canadian trip will be good practice for the fundamental things like offensive and defensive concepts.
After the Rebels take on teams across the border they tip off against Western Michigan Nov. 10 inside the Pavilion at Ole Miss.

Given the Canadien governments arrogant attitude toward our country, I am disappointed that the team is playing there.
But I guess that is to be expected from our slime ball liberal AD

We are a little disappointed too as we were hoping for a visit from a team that was better than 12-20 overall last year and weren’t bounced in the first round of SEC.
