High Cotton Wine and Spirits Warehouse will host a rum and rosé tasting Thursday, June 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Co-owner Aaron Herrington said the tasting will include a variety of rums and rosés from a well-known brand, which will be available for patrons to purchase. This is High Cotton’s second annual tasting.
“A sales representative from the brand will also be available to answer questions with technical knowledge,” he said.
Establishments that sell alcohol must apply for permits through the Mississippi Department of Revenue for tastings and samplings, according to the Alcohol Beverage Commission. Samplings and tastings can only be hosted quarterly.
Attendees must be at least 21 of age with a valid I.D., Herrington said.
