Cooking with Kimme: Marinated Cheese

My fam is at the beach this week and we had this the other night with assorted meats and crackers! A great snack for a crowd, and the kids love it too!
MARINATED CHEESE
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons sugar
2 8-ounce cream cheese (put in freezer to harden a bit)
1 8-ounce Monterey Jack cheese
1 8-ounce sharp cheddar cheese
***Can use presliced if available
Fresh parsley for garnish
Combine first 5 ingredients. Set aside.
Cut all blocks of cheese into 1/4 inch strips. Cut each strip in half to form two squares.
Assemble like dominoes. Pour marinade over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain and arrange on platter in rows. Garnish with parsley.
