Oxford Police Department investigated five wrecks, issued 12 tickets and responded to the following calls:

1 cyberstalking
1 disturbing the peace
3 domestic violence reports
1 K9 search
3 lost properties
1 malicious mischief
2 petty thefts
1 shoplifting
1 simple assault
2 suspicious activities
1 suspicious vehicle
1 vehicle search
2 welfare checks
OPD made the following arrests:
1 DUI-second offense, no seat belt and warrant served
1 no driver’s license, seatbelt and out-of-county warrant
1 public drunk, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance
1 warrant served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 simple assault
1 alarm
3 animal complaints
3 disturbances
2 petty thefts
1 juvenile complaint
2 service calls
1 suspicious activities
6 welfare concerns
2 transports
1 information
1 civil matter
1 natural cause death
2 assistance calls
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department served one writ to take into custody.
University Police Department responded to a report of bad checks and conducted one traffic stop.
Oxford Fire Department’s reports for today were not available this morning.
