Ryan Olenek Returns to Swayze for Senior Season

Ole Miss junior right-fielder Ryan Olenek announced Tuesday via Twitter that he will be returning to Swayze for his senior season.

“I am happy to announce that I will be returning for my senior year to play in front of the best fans in the entire country for one more year,” Olenek said.

Olenek was selected in the 17th round of the 2018 MLB draft by the San Francisco Giants earlier this month.

This season, Olenek had a .350 batting average and a .380 on-base percentage. The Winter Park, Florida native tagged 83 hits, 29 RBI’s and had a .464 slugging percentage for the Rebels.
