Oxford's Newest Development Creates an Oasis from The Square

If you’re looking for Oxford’s newest high-energy hangout spot, look no further than the new retail development on College Hill Rd, across from B’s Bar-B-Q. Lost Pizza, Crave and Clark’s Jewelry and Interiors have all the things you need to update your new living space and grab lunch in the meantime. If you’re spending time off-square, be sure to add these new stores to your Oxford must-do list.

Crave
Whenever you have a craving for something sweet, you’ll want to stop by Oxford’s newest bakery, Crave. The location opened June 11.
Tupelo residents Tiffany and Brad Franks first opened a weekend-only dessert and cafe shop in their hometown Nov. 2, 2015. After seeing the success of opening early and serving breakfast and coffee throughout the day, the Franks decided to apply the same principle to Crave in Oxford.
The trendy spot will serve fresh breakfast foods including muffins, quiches, scones, cinnamon rolls, sausage balls, and biscuits until 2 p.m. every day.

The most popular dessert, the skillet cookie, along with cheesecake, pies and cakes will be on the dessert menu Monday-Sunday. Specialty items will also be incorporated.
“We really wanted to build Crave as a dessert cafe first,” Tiffany said. “If we started as a coffee shop and just served dessert on the side, we would not have had the same success.”
Crave has a loyal following in Tupelo and the Franks hope to be supported in Oxford as well because it’s unlike any other breakfast or dessert place here, they said.
“My husband and I are heavily involved in the Tupelo community,” Tiffany said. “We love Oxford so we wanted to give back by bringing our café to a familiar place.”
Clark Jewelry

Clark Jewelry and Interiors is owned by Ole Miss alums Steve and Sheila Clark. Steve has been in the business for more than 45 years and wanted to bring his own touch of jewelry expertise to the Oxford scene, he said.
Clark Jewelry operates in a different style than most jewelry stores by selling its gold, silver and diamond offerings at wholesale prices.
“We are basically wholesaling fine-quality diamond jewelry and pre-owned Rolex,” Clark said. “As far as quality, I don’t think anyone can beat our prices.”
Other trinkets like upscale gifts and interior decorations are offered alongside the jewelry. Clark Jewelry is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lost Pizza

Lost Pizza is a people and pet friendly, retro-style restaurant that provides Oxford with good food, a pleasant dining experience and enjoyable company.
Open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Lost Pizza attracts not only pizza lovers but sandwich, wing, salad, and appetizer lovers, too.
Lost Pizza is well connected to the community, as they offer a full catering business and have partnered with Land Shark delivery for food on-the-go.
“We cater to families, tailgate parties, birthday parties, and office parties,” said Chuck McCarty, owner of the restaurant.
Spring and summer are the busiest seasons because of Ole Miss and community sporting events, McCarty said.
A rooftop patio, along with a deck complementing the bar is a hangout spot kids, teens, and adults can gravitate to. Outdoor dining is available if customers want to enjoy a meal in the fresh air. String lights surround the perimeter of the patio, creating an inviting environment.
Lost Pizza makes every pizza with pride, McCarty said.
“We use only the finest and freshest ingredients—fresh cut veggies and house made dough and sauces,” he said.
