Summer Hairstyles Are In And Luxe Styling Studio Is Staying “Atop” These

Staying cool while looking good this summer is priority number one for most ladies of Oxford. HottyToddy.com’s Steve Vassallo dropped by the Luxe Styling Studio on University last week to visit with owner Robin Melton.

Vassallo: Robin, with all the hairstyles out there, how would rank the leading three of these going into the summer?
Robin: Balayage is definitely number one. Then, I’d have to say, no frizz curls come in second. And thirdly, a personalized lob.
Vassallo: Let’s discuss all three beginning with Balayage.
Robin: The Balayage (foilayage baby lights) is to achieeve that dreamy ‘just been kissed by the sun’ natural highlights. We all know that living in the South can most times bring out the frizz in curls. We can achieve frizz- free curls or smooth hair with any one of our Keratin Complex Smoothing systems. A Personalized Lob is a very versatile, easy to maintain cut that continues to grow stronger. With so many different types out there, clients might prefer one over the other, or the stylist may suggest which ever may compliment them better and most flatter their face shape.
Vassallo: Isn’t the Lob somewhat angled down and actually very popular for all ages?
Robin: It can be, but most times it’s personalized to each clients needs.
Vassallo: For those ladies desiring a lighter feel, tell us about
the frizz-free curls.
Robin: For those desiring curls without the hassle of frizz, the Keratin Complex “Keratin Smoothing Treatment”, offers them a range of options to help them fight the frizz.
