Weather Forecast for NCAA Oxford Regional
The Oxford Regional gets underway tomorrow and runs thru Monday with multiple fan bases traveling to Oxford for the NCAA Tournament. HottyToddy.com wanted to give fans a look at the predicted weather forecast.
According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, the Oxford Regional could experience some delays on Friday and Saturday with rain in the area.
Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday night there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
On Saturday, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. West wind around 5 mph.
Saturday night could face possible showers and thunderstorms, as well, mainly after 1 a.m., along with being partly cloudy, with a low around 72. Southwest wind around 5 mph and a chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
The possibility of rain will move out of the area on Sunday (June 3) for a nice and clear few days at the ballpark.
