Sardis Lake Marina Hosts Inaugural Sailing Regatta
Sardis Lake Marina and Rafters on the Water will host its inaugural sailing regatta June 9 from 9 a.m-6 p.m.
The Sardis Classic Regatta will be a casual sailboat race encouraging and promoting sailing on Sardis Lake. The event’s sponsor, Blackjack Sailing, can provide an experienced race crew member if anyone is interested or needs an extra hand on their boat. Blackjack will also be setting rules for the water events.
Regatta Schedule
9 a.m.-11 a.m. — Dingy racing with BlackJack Sailing
12 p.m. — Skippers meeting at Rafter’s on the Water: Start time and location will be announced here based on weather conditions.
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Sardis Classic Regatta
5 p.m. — Regatta Celebration at Rafter’s on the Water
