Oxford Police Department arrested Rudy Lewis, 18, of Abbeville, May 21 after complaints he was shining a flashlight in cars and houses in the Cotton Creek Subdivision on Old Sardis Road.
When officers approached Lewis they discovered he was in possession of a stolen firearm. The weapon was reported stolen from neighboring Panola County, OPD said.
He was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
